April 2012

FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital celebrated our official opening on April 28, 2012.  Governement officials, former patients, doctors, volunteers, distinguished guests and representatives from several countries attended the gala event.   

February 2012
FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital’s First Surgeries Performed
The first scheduled patient at the FOCOS Hospital underwent a successful bilateral total knee replacement by Drs. Kyle Swanson, Oheneba Boachie-Adjei and Joseph Ogyaadu.. read more

July 2011
The outpatient clinic has moved from the Watson House clinic to the FOCOS hospital. A CT scanner and two C-arms have arrived in Ghana. Hopefully the hospital will be officially opened in January 2012 ready for the mission trip scheduled for February. To view the projects most recent road map click here.
